India is booming: It is the highest growth major economy in the world today

India Week 2023 is the place to engage in high level discussions on the New India.

India’s economic growth rate is the highest amongst major economies today, as China struggles with a bloated infrastructure sector, local government bad debts, a zero-Covid policy and an ageing population.

India’s inflation rate is lower than that of the UK, US and other major economies.

As the Western world diversifies its supply chains and geopolitical dependencies away from China, India stands to benefit.

Equally, war, disrupted global supply chains and a hawkish Federal Reserve threaten a prolonged global economic slowdown which could inflict economic pain upon a generation.

As the UK and India reach the closing stages of agreeing a bilateral Free Trade Agreement, EPG’s India Week 2023 is an annual get-together of change-makers, policy and business leaders for high-level discussions on pertinent topics.

The inaugural Ideas for India conference in May 2022 was held to celebrate India’s 75th anniversary of Independence, with speakers providing their vision for where they see India in the coming 25 years.

Day 1 featured an education delegation to Birmingham, hosted by Birmingham City University. Day 2 featured a Policy Forum on closer UK-India relations, the Commonwealth Education Conference and an Awards evening in Parliament. Day 3 featured the main plenary sessions, including discussions on India’s leadership in addressing climate change, tackling misinformation, unemployment, skill development, women’s participation in the workforce and building India’s institutions.

This year’s Agenda is even more ambitious, taking place from Sunday 7 May – Friday 12 May 2023.

Ideas for India

The second edition of the Ideas for India conference will bring together business, industry and policy leaders from the UK, Europe and India to discuss the next wave of India’s growth as an economy and a nation.

Until recently, business, foreign policy and social issues occupied distinct spaces. The convergence of dialogue, engagement and collaboration between business, government, civil society and Indian diaspora has blurred the lines between each.

Our conference operates at their convergence, helping drive conversations in a unique, inclusive and focused forum.

We have senior Ministerial attendance from both the UK and India, with 500+ guests over the two days, including over 100 from India.

About India Week 2023

What is the Agenda?

Please find the agenda by clicking on “Agenda” at the top of this page. The event is spread over a week at various venues in Leicestershire, Oxford and London. Full details are provided to confirmed delegates.

Who will be attending?

This event is aimed at CxOs and senior decision-makers. We will have over 600 attendees over the week from sectors such as: policy and government, technology, AI, energy, automotive, banking, professional services, sustainability solutions, trade associations, venture capital, academia, civil society and more.

Where will the events take place?

The event will be over a week across multiple venues in central London, including the Houses of Parliament. For security purposes, the full details will be provided to confirmed guests.

Do you have preferential room rates available?

Yes, we have preferential room rates for confirmed delegates at the event venue. These are available only to ticket-holders.

Do you provide visa invitation letters?

Yes, we do for confirmed delegates, once payment is received. Please get in touch with your assigned contact and they can help you further.

My visa didn't come in time. Can I get a refund?

We advise delegates to allow plenty of time for the visa process so as to receive it in time. In case you do not receive your visa in time, we can process a refund, in line with our Terms and Conditions.
