Universities play a vital role in their local communities, through providing future-proof talent, creating levelling up opportunities, boosting the economy, and training brilliant talent.
This event was focused on strengthening ties between York St John University (London campus) with surrounding businesses, start-ups and corporates.
The campus has over 2,000 students today, and can help you with interns, placements, academia-industry collaborations, and 12-36 months’ project assistance from their Knowledge Transfer Partnerships.
Speakers included senior leadership from the campus, as well as industry leaders from fintech, AI and the hotel industry. Attendees came from across London across a range of sectors, including from leading chambers of commerce, to explore closer collaboration with the campus.
The event took place with great local food and wine in a relaxed environment where participants learned more about the impact, and benefits of university partnerships – including looking at some success stories.[/vc_column_text]
