Welcome to a special charity fundraising event with Quanta, whose Ethereum – based lottery has just been granted the first licensed blockchain lottery in the world.
Built on the Ethereum blockchain, Quanta utilises smart contracts for tickets sales, the selection of winners and prize payouts, thus ensuring fully autonomous, transparent, manipulation-proof gaming. It’s a lottery system that can deliver unprecedented trust and excitement.
Ahead of its formal launch in 2018, Quanta is keen to demonstrate how their platform can be used to support charities and so will be hosting a fundraising evening like you’ve never experienced before.
You’ll see live how the platform works and hopefully, we’ll be raising lots of money too! We will be fundraising for the award-winning charity, Polio Children, which helps children with polio become productive citizens of society in eleven countries in Africa and Asia, just like any able-bodied child. Registrations are at 6:30pm. We’ll start at 7pm start with a welcome from Quanta’s team and Polio Children. Then, you’ll get the opportunity to see how the lottery platform works and find out a little more about it. We’ll finish around 8:30pm, followed by drinks at one of London’s hottest co-working spaces!
